Overview:

Emilie, otherwise known as 'Twoshoes', is a multidisciplinary artist, illustrator and animator from Kent. Inspired by nostalgia and smear animation, Emilie creates expressive and playful characters. She pays homage to the process of making by utilising her mediums to capture their charm into the personalities of her characters. Gritty graphite, unctuous ink, scribbles like threads... Emilie uses the materials to elevate their narrative that tickles both the sensory and emotive mind of the viewer.
