We Are the Allies, the freelance network based in Manchester and Leeds, has celebrated its fourth birthday with a new website launch BBQ in Manchester.
Allies has over those four years supplied freelance talent to over 200 top agencies, production companies and in-house creative departments across the UK.
Now the Allies 2.0 website, designed from the ground up, offers a complete directory of top freelance talent and their portfolios, making it easy for agencies to find quality, pre-vetted freelancers.
With over 500 creatives on board, Allies describes the new site as “one of the largest virtual creative departments in the UK.”
The site covers every creative discipline from copy to motion graphics, editors to creative directors, and photography to digital experts and seeks to match the best creatives with agency briefs. It can also create bespoke teams to deliver any size of project.
Set up by creatives, for creatives, Allies claims to be not a recruitment company but “a bunch of creatives and ex-agency folk who thought there was a better way of doing things.”
